FASB Update - Review of recent financial accounting standards and refresh those standards which have great impact on accounting and financial reporting. Main topics include the reporting environment, financial instruments, fair value, leases, revenue recognition, liabilities, comprehensive income, goodwill and other intangible assets. Overview of recent exposure drafts.
Objective: Upon completion of this course participants will be able to apply recent FASB pronouncements for non-specialized companies.
