Alternative Investments: Taxation of Hedge and Private Equity Funds, Act 185-2014, and Opportunity Funds

Structuring trends and tax developments in PR and the US relevant to the asset management industry, namely hedge and private equity funds and management companies.  The class will also navigate through certain existing Puerto Rican rules specifically applicable to the asset management industry under Act 185 and the most recent opportunity funds.
